Rossy smiles

Kuzhupilly is a small fishing village in southern Indian state of Kerala. Taxed alcohol from legal stores are expensive to the most fisherman in this village. This father and son brews homemade alcohol for the poor fishermen in Kuzhupilly. The pet bottle in his hand is used to fill his home brew. Here they are in an effort to convince me to buy a litre of his brew which is locally called ‘ rossy’ because of the rose colour and grape flavour.

When flowers bloom and rivers rage, relish before they fade.

JUST ONE LIKE THIS ONE

This picture might look simple but with two small kids in the group , and all of them looking at the lens and smiling at the same time, I think I was lucky. May be I am not too good with it. Here I had to struggle a bit to get this one picture, the kind of picture this family wanted to frame, were all of them have a smile and are looking into the camera. During the shoot I got some cool good different shots, of the couple, the kids, them playing, crying etc... but just one like this one.
